JD Entertainment presents the 26th Annual Old School and Blues Festival, the longest running urban event in northern Alabama, featuring both internationally renown artists and local artists in a one-day, not to be missed celebration at the Huntsville Dragway. Join Dru Hill, The Whispers, Kut Klose, 8 Ball & MJG, King George, TK Soul, Levelle DJ Unk, The Original Lakeside Band and more. Brian Culbertson's 2023 Napa Valley Getaway celebrates its 10th anniversary with 3 days of musical excellence featuring The Whispers, Con Funk Shun, Pieces of A Dream, Eric Darius, Noel Gourdin, Michael Lington, Marucs Anderson, Paul Jackson Jr., Althea Rene, Nicholas Cole, Jazmine Ghent, Kayla Waters, & The BC Band PLUS Sterling James & The World Famous Rick and Russ Show with CJ Flash spinning the cool between the acts each night! The Whispers perform on Saturday, June 10, at the 9th Annual University United Festival at Rotary Field on the University at Buffalo's South Campus. On June 10th, the music spans from 3 to 10 pm with performances by Johnny Gill, the Whispers and Lloyd. The national anthem will be delivered by Matt Wilson, who recently appeared on "American Idol," and Vibrant Strings and Cami Clune will also perform. On June 11, the event is from 2 to 7 p.m., featuring Hezekiah Walker and Pastor Mike Jr. The festival also includes a community parade, a kids zone and more. It is free!
